....bought this for 1.00 at Thrift Shop.....childs hat????the picture shows the inside and outside.It seems the heavy seam is on the outside?...hey!!!---->but what do I want for a buck--ehhh?

I think you have a jewel of a thrift shop - the blanket is a great find - I will never understand why people get rid of hand made items- to me, they are as precious as fine jewelry, actually more so! My middle daughter is 42 and I still use a pincushion she made for me out of felt when she was six years years old.

Maybe the seam is on the outside so it won't be felt by the person wearing it. Looks like if it were on the inside, it would press on the scalp.
