If you are a world music lover then I would recommend WOMADelaide. Held in March each year it’s a cornucopia of music from all around the world. It’s held in Botanic Park a beautiful treed green space on the boundary of Adelaide CBD.

If world music isn’t for you then perhaps The Fringe would be more your style. It runs for a month from mid February to mid March

Perhaps the Adelaide Festival is your ‘thing’. It is a yearly event and this year it’s being held from 3rd to 19th March.

We also have beautiful beaches and top class winery areas….the main ones are, Clare Valley, Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Eden Valley, Coonawarra and the Adelaide Hills.
I think those few suggestions would keep you very busy. Jen.

Sydney will give you so many world class choices depending on your preferences. The recently revamped Opera House is a must for the music/opera lover, Taronga Park Zoo has a harbourside setting and views to die for, the bridge walk will give you a bird's eye view of the city if you have the stomach for heights, whilst our beaches are legendary. The recently redeveloped Barangaroo harbourside precinct explores our history as well as providing a plethora of cosmopolitan eateries. I am sure other Sydneysiders will add many more suggestions.

I got carried away too…can’t just stop at one suggestion when there are so many highlights around our home states. Jen.

Your town, city or country tomorrow so what would be the ONE thing you would recommend I must see??
The view of the city from atop Mount Royal Park. Any and all seasons.

It's been many years so my memory is fuzzy but am i correct that you can take the trip atop Mount Royal Park by horse and buggy? I'm sure hubby and i did that back in 1974.
Sadly, no longer. Our unloved mayor banned the horse-drawn vehicles a few years ago. Some things she’s done are good, but that was a really dumb move, in my opinion.

Well i agree with you..dumb move. I was born in Toronto, lived here all my 76 years and love my city but when hubby and i needed some time to ourselves we would drive to Montreal and walk the streets of Old Montreal, enjoy the foods and always took buggy rides around the old town. What a shame to take that experience away for all to enjoy!! The view from Mount Royal is beautiful for sure but even better by horse and buggy!!

Take a trip on the Manly ferry and see the beautiful Sydney Harbour, I love that trip. Also take a day or a few days and go to the Blue Mountains the scenery up there is breathtaking.

Since I live in New Jersey in a New York City suburb town the attraction is New York City to anybody visiting us. But, they also enjoy getting back to our peaceful and green suburb after a day in New York!
