Well, I live in the Boston area and if you came here you might want to walk the Freedom Trail and see sites from the American Revolution. Maybe a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts or the Boston Symphony? Or maybe a trip to Cape Cod would be more up your alley. You might want to come in the fall to enjoy the foliage. Let me know when you’re coming and I’ll show you the sights 😉
Walking around Boston was when I fell in love with Crocs. I had just bought a pair of Crocs-clones ($3 at a dollar store!) and wore them, carrying my usual sandals in my backpack as backup, just in case my feet began to hurt from the new footwear.
After hours of tromping around, and climbing inside the USS Constitution, my feet were still happy!

Montreal which is a beautiful place to visit, …
I wasn’t looking for somewhere to move to; I hadn’t any intentions of leaving New York City. I just wanted to visit the site of Expo’67. Many of the exhibits were still up and running when I got there in late summer 1968, but it closed after Labour Day, leaving me several days of vacation to roam the city. THAT was the beginning of my vague idea of moving here. A return visit in January 1969 solidified the idea. It took another eighteen months for all the paperwork - company transfer and government visa - but I’ve been here since August 1970.

I don't think anyone would want to visit Northern Ontario in the next couple of days as it is supposed to be bitter cold, and also we have had lots of snow lately. Summer is a better time, there are two lakes (Lake Nipissing and Trout Lake right in the city and some great walking paths along side waterfalls. We have 2 Merry Go Rounds and a small train close to the waterfront.
You can go ice fishing now if you are into that sort of thing, not for me thanks as I don't have an ice hut.

Love my CROCS! I've got 6-7 pairs in bright colors. The toe box is oversized so my toes have wiggle room. I can be on my feet and in them all day without feet or ankles or legs getting tired. I wish I had known about them years ago. This year I bought two pair that are fuzzy lined and boy, does that help keep me warm on snowy and bitter cold days.

I promised myself, when I moved here almost 20 years ago, that if ever I could drive over the long bridge without admiiring its beauty I would have to move - I wouldn't deserve to live here. Of course if the weather and the roads are bad or if traffic is squirrely, I pay absolute attention to driving, but whenever I can, I look.
It makes me chuckle, sometimes I'll be behind a car with out of state plates and they'll just all of a sudden slow down to 35 or less (the speed limit is 55). Other cars honk, but I just patiently wait until they notice how slowly they're going - they've been gob-smacked by the mystical alchemy of sky and water and sun, I enjoy the chance to slow down and enjoy the experience with them.

Sadly, I haven’t been able to get the bright colours that are available in women’s and children’s sizes. I’m stuck with men’s size 12, and the brightest I’ve found is red. The others are olive-drab, white, grey, and black. However, my feet can’t see colours; they only care for comfort!!! :)

If you go to the CROCS website you can find mens size 12 CROCS in hot pink, aqua, jade, and a bunch of other colors. Some are lined. My guy has two pair of lined, size 13, in navy. They are about $60 US, but worth it I think.

Sorry for getting this off topic.

In Chicago, the Architectural Center's Boat Tour on the Chicago River past some of the architectural wonders of the city. We like to take out of town guests. Of course, it only runs during the summer. I highly recommend, just remember your sunscreen.
Our son and his family lived in Chicago for a few years so we visited a number of times. The Architectural Centre's Boat Tour was wonderful. We also enjoyed visiting Frank Lloyd Wright's home. Chicago is a vibrant and fun city to visit.
