Hi guys,

I want to knit a balaclava for my husband so he can keep warm outside in freezing weather. I have found a few knitting patterns but need one for worsted weight wool. Does anyone have a fairly easy knitting pattern for one? Thank you in advance.

I used one that was a military charity knit called a Helmet liner. I don't remember much more about it but it was easy and worsted weight yarn. It was a vintage pattern. I'll see if I can find it, it was on line but not on Ravelry.

I have done the helmet liner MMWRay listed. It is very easy and I have decreased counts by 1/3 to make smaller versions.

My favorite one is the Gussetted Helmet Liner by Ellen Silva. It's available on Ravelry. Actually I'm getting ready to make it again for a gift.
