can anyone tell me what this means:

Row 5 (RS) K1, yo, sk2p, k to last st, yo, k1. -

I don't know what the sk2p means - can you tell me what that stands for?
it means slip 1, knit 2 tog, pass slip stitch over the k2tog,
2 sts have been decreased.

I got this from The Knitting Answer Book by Margaret Radcliffe it really is a MUST to have for knitters.

Patty, you are so right about The Knitting Answer Book. That little "Bible" is such a worthwhile investment for any knitter. I've been knitting for 44 years and keep my copy handy whenever I'm knitting.

In the years that I have been knitting abbreviations have changed, so I invested in this little book - best money I ever spent!
