Corinne is doing such a lovely job of raising her boys. They always have big, heartfelt smiles on their faces. Thanks for sharing.

They are adorable but when I see Arthur I just want to scoop him up and hug him!
My son and DIL are great hikers and enjoy the outdoors. The kids have not slowed them down one bit.
I'm amazed at how far Corinne's boys will walk. Wilfred gathers sticks and stones as he goes. Obi walked over 3 miles last time they came to visit. We went to an area of The New Forest called Pig Bush. Corinne and I walked back with Wilfred and Arthur because Wilfred was soaking, having been up to his knees in water. Things got worse when I had to pull him out of a waist deep muddy puddle. Meanwhile my husband and son in law took Obi on our usual long walk...and he didn't complain once!

I remember your muddy boy picture! So cute!
Corrine does a wonderful blog - it's nice to see the kids.
I have cousins in Newfoundland who are bringing up their kids in a similar fashion - lots of countryside time. Everyone in the family hikes and climbs, from the 2 year old to the grandparents. It's a great way to grow up.

The pics. bring back sooo many memories. My daughter and son grew up with the woods, farm animals and grandparents lake(half hour away)the things children learn just out of natural curiosity is amazing. My son is a fisheries technician and daughter works with her dad doing excavation and both daughter and hubby plow snow for the county. Daughter also trains horses. Children when they come here love to check out all the animals. Their favorites are collecting eggs and looking for peacock feathers when they molt them.
