I am not real sure where League City is; but I think its between Galveston and Houston. I don't think it is really big. You will have alot to see. I live in Groves which is 90 miles south east of Houston. Its a very small bedroom community that probably has more churchs than any other business. I've been knitting for 50 years. I hope what surgery you are having goes well. Feel free to PM when you get to Texas and if there is anything I can do for you.Sharfay said:Hi Queenmawmaw,
Thanks for the welcome. Where are you in Texas? I will be in League City, Tx the first part of June for surgery. Do you know if this area is large? Well, I mean a large city! I have only lived in California and really haven't travelled that much except to states around CA. We plan to do a mini vacation on the way to TX and on the way back, so we'll be seeing some of the sights.

Right on Wanda. By my mapbook, the population in League City is just over 71,000. Huge by Mississippi standards, but probably small by Texas standards.Queenmawmaw said:I am not real sure where League City is; but I think its between Galveston and Houston.
