Thanks for the welcome. Where are you in Texas? I will be in League City, Tx the first part of June for surgery. Do you know if this area is large? Well, I mean a large city! I have only lived in California and really haven't travelled that much except to states around CA. We plan to do a mini vacation on the way to TX and on the way back, so we'll be seeing some of the sights.

I have only lived in California and really haven't travelled that much except to states around CA. We plan to do a mini vacation on the way to TX and on the way back, so we'll be seeing some of the sights.

Have you been knitting long?

I am not real sure where League City is; but I think its between Galveston and Houston. I don't think it is really big. You will have alot to see. I live in Groves which is 90 miles south east of Houston. Its a very small bedroom community that probably has more churchs than any other business. I've been knitting for 50 years. I hope what surgery you are having goes well. Feel free to PM when you get to Texas and if there is anything I can do for you.

Right on Wanda. By my mapbook, the population in League City is just over 71,000. Huge by Mississippi standards, but probably small by Texas standards.
