I was looking thru the vintage pattern website and came across an infant Toque. From a few searches this is some kind of a hat? Looking at the picture, it sure doesn't look like a hat. Any ideas?

I am still not understanding. The bottom goes over the head, OK but where is the back, front. I am still having a hard time picturing this as a hat.

I hate to say this, but I am feeling really stupid! I still don't get it and I guess the only thing left to do is make one.

Put the button in the front or in the back.
