[happy knitter in maine]

Yea the snow is melting here in Maine. I am a left handed self taught knitter. I enjoy it very much; however, I want to learn more. The only things I have really done is scarves and hats. Recently I joined a knitting circle with my mom and have started my first pair of mittens. But I think it will be summer before I finish them! I would love to make a sweater someday.

It's in the 40's here, I have been knitting a vest that has cables that will look like kittens for my granddaughter who will be 3 yrs old in April. I have been knitting and crocheting for 50 years and still love it.
