Well, I try to steer clear of naming anything based on the yarn I used so that it doesn't keep people from trying the pattern using a different fiber. But, I let my husband choose the name for this one........... :)

Quick and easy bookmark pattern that will work with ay yarn. Just use whatever size needles are required for the yarn you use and you'll be all set. You can make this wider and use it as a headband too. The pattern is in multiples of 7 with 2 edge stitches on each side, so if you increase your number of stitches in increments of 7 you will be fine.

You need: 2-weight yarn (small amount) and size 3 knitting needles. Or use any scrap yarn you have and the coordinating needles.

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together as one

yo: yarn over

skp: slip one stitch knitwise, knit the next stitch, then pass the slipped stitch over the knit stitch

Cast on 18 stitches

Work Edge

Knit every stitch for 2 rows

Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12: k2, purl to last 2, k2

Row 1: k2, *k2, k2tog, yo, k3*; repeat from * to *, k2
Row 3: k2, *k1, k2tog, yo, k4*; repeat from * to *, k2
Row 5: knit all stitches
Row 7: k2, *k3, yo, skp, k2*; repeat from * to *, k2
Row 9: k2, *k4, yo, skp, k1*; repeat from * to *, k2
Row 11: knit all stitches

Repeat Rows 1 - 12 until the piece is desired length.

Work Edge Again

Knit every stitch for 2 rows

Bind off all stitches and enjoy!
