I was hoping it showed sewing knit block tog. It only shows how to sew crochet blocks tog.

Umm ... IF you knit with a 'chain' selvedge stitch, it sews up exactly the same way as those crocheted bits. In fact, I've only used it on seaming knits. I crochet crocheted and knitted blocks together.
