My Goodness, what talent you have. Everything is outstanding!!! I am new at knitting have knitted a hat and some very simple scarves. Would I be able to knit the slippers? I know that I can't tackle the scarf that has a slit in it. But I would like to attempt the slippers.Of course I would need the pattern. A God given talent.
Here's the pattern for the Bowknot Scarf
Size 4mm needles. Used what ever yarn I had.
Cast on 3 sts.
1st.row. Inc 1st in 1st st. Knit to end of row.
Repeat 1st row til there are 24 sts on needle.
Work 19 rows in garter st (knit every row).
To make Slot:
*k1. Slip nest st onto spare needle, keeping this st at back of work. Repeat fro * to end of row. Sts are now divided on 2 needles.
Working on one set of sts, work 12 rows in (k1,p1)ribbing. Break yarn. Leave these sts on holder.
Working on remaining sts, work 12 rows in (k1,p1) ribbing. DO NOT BREAK YARN.
To close slot: Next row: *Knit tog 1st from each needle. K1from front needle. K1 from back needle. Repeat from * to 2 sts left on each needle (knit tog 1st from each needle) twice. 17 sts on needles.
Continue even in garter st until work, when slightly stretched, measures 12 ins from slot closing.
Next row: * K1. K2tog. Repeat from * to last 2 sts. K2. 12 sts on needle.
Work 12 rows in (k1,p1) ribbing.
Next row: Inc 1 st in each st. 24 sts on needle.
