I just joined and already love it. I've been knitting for about four years. I've had my Grandmother and Aunts knitting needles for years but never tried to learn. One Christmas my mom gave me her mother's knitting needles and I decided I'd better learn since I now had both Grandmother's needles. I hope they are both proud of me for learning. I'm self-taught and am now totally obsessed! :-D
I just joined a knitting group in my area that meets on Saturdays twice a month. It's so fun to meet up with other knitters and socialize while enjoying the craft.
