This year the Knit World Charity Is Beanies for KidsCan.
This supports NZ children living in poverty.There aim is to get 10,000 beanies donated by 31st May 2012.For all the Kiwi's on this site that don't have a Knit World shop in there area go to www.knitworld.co.nz and you can download a free pattern.It is on the Charity Knitting page.The ones pictured below are the smallest size & you can get a hat out of 1 50gm Ball of Pure wool.You can also use your own pattern as well but is preferred that you use Pure Wool

How fabulous...... We used to have a yarn shop where you could hang donations on a clothes line for kids. Your situation is so much more organized. I would love to have something like that here to save shiping costs for buying more yarn... LOVE your choices. Hope every Kiwi on here decides to do a couple hats. Kids should never go cold....
