Can anyone tell me where I can find instuctions for the kitchner stitch that has ribbing? I tried it and finally gave up. I understand the kitchner stitch for just knitting but I went crazy trying to do the other. Any videos out there?

I make life easy by put the knit stitches on one dpn and purl on another dpn. I work the knit first, then turn to the reverse side and work the purl, which now becomes knit.

If you knit several rows with waste yarn in a contrasting, light color you then have a path to follow when grafting. When grafting is finished unravel the waste yarn.
