We have a Doodle who needs to be groomed and the little black dog made me laugh. Also we had a cat named Candy. She was not sweet so the kitty that mauled an arm brings back memories. Loved that snot cat anyway.

you could make one with an inflatable beach ball, yarn dipped starch wrapped strategically around the beach ball. When dry, deflate the ball and remove. Stand made of dowels, smoothed to points on one end and wooden balls

I had a similar thought to make one. Thanks for the suggestion...something to think about.
