I've always known about knit/knitting & the beautiful items that be made, but...after a bad fall 13 years ago, didn't think I should try learning. It's very difficult to hold yarn for tension. So...I started with Arm Knitting a couple months ago. I've always loved the different textures & beautiful array of colors making a gorgeous palette of yarn when I entered stores. Now off I go!

Yes, but looking at the tools, I thought I might find more help using "regular" needles. I didn't know about this site at the time. Michaels' employee suggested using bamboo instead of metal needles. She also suggested using about a size 10 and not too long.

Your arm knitting is great! I love the texture and drape of your scarves. Your knitting looks good too. Perhaps just work for a little while at a time to build up your tension grip. Good luck! Keep working. You make beautiful things.
