There are a lot of books out there with patterns for a wide variety of things and stitches. Even cable stitch can be done on the circle looms. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the baby afghan with cables in panels on the round looms. I love my looms and to crochet.

In your search engine - type "Knifty Knitter"; also "Loom Knitting"; "Free Knifty Knitter patterns" etc, etc. Have lots of paper and ink handy for your printer....I have learned all my stitches online and have so many free patterns I'll never get to all of them. :) Isela has a fabulous website too! Have fun!!

Walmart actually has a book for these looms with a lot of items you can make. Go to Youtube.com and just type "knifty knitter" and you will come up with a mess of items to make.. along with the video. This makes it a lot easier for me.

I have the Loom Knitting Primer and it is excellent! The tutorials alone are worth the book. There are also I think 30 patterns included. I've done the Scarflet one and really liked it. I modified it some to suit my needs, but it worked up pretty fast and very nicely.

If you have an Authentic Knitting Board, get the book "Knitting Board Basics" which is tutorials for the knitting boards. I'm sure some of the info would work for the Knifty Knitter Long Looms, too, though. It's the BEST book I've read on board loom knitting.

Both of those titles are available thorough Amazon.com for a really nice price. If you don't have an Authentic Knitting Board, start with the Tadpole. It will help get your skills set. There are even patterns for stuffed animals with this loom.

Whoa - it is after 5:30am and I haven't gone to bed yet... ack! I'd best knit for a bit and then get some sleep.

See you later in the afternoon!
