There are so many special times when receiving a hand-knit stuffed animal would be so loved and appreciated, such as for holidays or when you want to show your love, best wishes or just give a needed hug. An animal can say it best, especially if it’s all decked out for the occasion or holiday. There are two versions for this pattern. One version is “Knit Occasions Animal Gifts”, which includes Celebrate!, Luv Ya Lots!, Lotsa Luck! and Gentle Hugs! The second version is “Knit Holidays Animal Gifts”, which includes Easter, Hanukkah, Halloween and Christmas. KNIT IN THE ROUND, using Magic Loop (or DPNs could be substituted), (with Flat Stitching Conversion Directions, so you don’t have to figure it out for yourself), each pattern version includes 4 darling animals: puppy, bear, bunny and kitty, all dressed up for special gift-giving. Sitting approx. 9 ½” tall (without ears), these sweeties are knit in approx. 300 yds of #5-Bulky wt. yarn of your choice. Each animal’s accessories are made with approx. 70-150 yds of #4-worsted wt. yarn. Giving one of these special gifts really expresses your intentions!

Thanks, Knittingkitty! I decided to do this, because people kept making suggestions to me for special gifts.

Pat and Countryknitwit, thank you for your kind words.
