If you live near Philadelphia Pennsylvania there is a wonderful exhibit at the American Swedish Historical Museum called Knitting Along the Viking Trail by Scandinavian artist Elsebeth Lavold. The exhibit shows approximately 50 sweaters along with hats, scarfs, mittens, pillows etc. The work is exquisite and will be on display until July 3. http://www.americanswedish.org/

I happened upon this as I was looking for something fun to do this past weekend. This museum has been in the city since 1937 and I just discovered it!

Thanks for the info. I truly love Philly. Such great memories of my many visits. Bookbinders, Redding Market...I am sad that I live so far away now. Maybe I can make is back this summer.

Oh wow, what a great sweater they have to show off the exibit. Wished I lived close enough to go see all the rest. Looks great. Somebody go and come back and tell us all about it.
