The Tomten ladies saw what I posted re no more knitting and now very politely asked if I might change their dresses as the really love the silver beads on the strawberry šŸ“ lady. I wasn’t going to enquire what the new ones names were but hey you didn’t sound polite so I’ve named them Scarlett and Rufus Reddington.

Kate and Margaret, thanks for the start of a new week. I've been trying to keep up but still have a lot of last week's TP to read. I haven't been commenting much though.

Fan, the door ornament is lovely. Love your little girl's dress, looks so festive.

Thanks Kate & Margaret for another week.
Fan lovely little dress & pretty star.
JoRae, those cookies look good.
I thought DS would be here for supper but he went to pick up his truck in Lloydminste, his transmission went & needed fixing. Well, it took them 2 weeks to fix it & while it’s been there thieves drilled a hole in his gas tank & drained his gas. The @#$& service people didn’t tell him this had happened until after he paid his bill. Now he has to figure out how to get that fixed before he can come home. Damn thieves!
That is really rotten of those thieves. I'm guessing that this is going to happen more often if the price of gas keeps rising. If the service people were aware of this, it wasn't very nice of them not to tell DS
before he paid his bill. Since the truck was in their care when this happened, wouldn't they share some of the cost of repair?

Thank-you Kate and Margaret for the new start. The time doesn't matter to me given that I usually forget it's Friday🤣🤣🤣
Alibee I LOVED your collection of sunflowers; they put a smile on my face. You sure made them up quickly. I'm getting so slow but it doesn't matter; not where to go and not much expected from me.

Kate and Margaret many thanks for your commitment to keeping us up and running.

Went to knitting group today. I've really cut down on attending but only because I am trying to watch how much gas is used when not really necessary. It was nice to see everyone.

Machriste I hope you managed to see the doctor today.

OMG what a bunch of thieves. And, if they knew it had been drained and damaged, why on earth in 2 weeks couldn't they have fixed it as well. After all, it was on their property, it is on them to fix it,no?
Thank you ladies for another start to what will be a short, busy week for many of us. Time is really rushing along toward the end of the year now isn't it. Seems the weeks really fly by.
The summaries are so great for those of us who drift around, lose our place and need catching up.
Thanks for posting your decoration Fan, it is really simple and lovely and the little dress is precious. You could start a line of these frocks, "Fan's Fancies"!

I hope this fun link will open for you. These two boys have fantastic voices.

:ROFLMAO: That was delightful Joyce! You are so right in that the boys have wonderful voices but oh so funny.

Thanks but I’m done I think, have made around 12 pieces in the past few weeks and need a break now.
Love the name though it’s very clever.

Thank you for the new week ladies very much appreciated.
just got home after foray to the gift store and couldn’t resist buying this hanging arrangement for the front door.
ā€˜At present it’s inside but will move it on Christmas morning.
ā€˜Also here is my latest and possibly last knitting for the store for awhile.
ā€˜We left the store and went and had coffee and yummy cheesecake for morning tea. Tried a new place and it was really nice.
Wont need lunch for awhile after that large slice. View attachment 1267370 View attachment 1267371
Fan the newest little dress is just precious. Also love the door decoration. I may have to look around outside and see if I can find some twigs and try to recreate it here. I have a wreath out in the barn but it is getting a bit worn so something new would be nice.

Bonnie that is terrible what happened to DS's truck! I would think the garage that had it should have to pay for the damaged gas tank since they had it on their property doing repairs.

rotten thieves! But isn’t the place responsible to fix it? It did happen on their watch and at their place.
edit to add that I see everyone else who responded feels the same I do. On their watch and in their care. They should fix it. And should have done so right away
