I am assuming the petunias are somewhere inside? Great that you are having success... I am glad you didn't go to bingo also in that kind of cold!I cut my petunias down today & started another 24 slips, some were even blooming. I’m thinking this experiment may be a success after all. I have 6-4” pots going great guns, a 6 pack flat that has 5 good plants coming & the ones I started today. My DH thinks I’ve lost my mind😄😄
seems like half of Canada is under an extreme cold warning. We are to get -36C/-35F tonight but wind chills beyond -40. I’m glad I didn’t agree to work at bingo tonight.
He looks very handsome.good evening. Just sat down and thought I should do a quick catch-up. Was going to comment but per usual my head is empty. After our walk I took Gus for his groom and he is so handsome again. Goodness….such an improvement. Not sure what happened last time and why the grow out was so terrible. Groomer couldn’t figure it out either. Anyway, he is super handsome again. Tuckered him out as afterwards went to show off to dd and grandson played fetch with him. By the time we got home he went to his bed and fell sound asleep. Now he’s raring to go again. Of course just when I’m winding down for the night. seems like I didn’t get enough done today though. Talked to an old friend for over an hour and also made a huge pot of Gumbo. Froze quite a bit which will be nice to a quick lunch or dinner. Still haven’t seen buttons of the cardi…I really need to get to it and send it off. Anyway, have a good evening or day. Back to my knitting. View attachment 1278995
When I was teaching I watched as a “new” girl was being taunted by 2 boys behind her in the line, but before I could intervene she turned, put a hand on either of their ears and banged their heads together! It was the neatest move I have ever seen, but of course when they protested I “hadn’t seen anything”! 🤣👍 They weren’t going to mess with her again!I agree, the added anonymity of social media makes it even worse. My first year going to school here was terrible, until I knocked one of the bullies in her ass, then it got better. Now days, I would have been expelled from school for doing that yet I think it’s often what they need.

That's just the kind of thing Grannie Clampett would do and why I want to be like her when I grow up 😅 Good for you for not seeing it; under today's conditions, guess which one of the three would be heading for the principal's office. When I was teaching I watched as a “new” girl was being taunted by 2 boys behind her in the line, but before I could intervene she turned, put a hand on either of their ears and banged their heads together! I’ll often have spam calls which I don’t answer, they use the same digits as the city area I used to live in. Just the last 4 #’s are different than my cell number. They never leave messages either and I always block the numbers.Oh, that's what I was going to say earlier, my financial advisor got a phone call on his cell phone, from his cell phone number, like that was a legit call?! lol. They highjack people numbers and use them because they think you'll answer if it's someone you know, sick really.
2 older sisters, then a brother, me, then 2 younger sisters, there will be 6 of us. 😁How exciting that will be. How many of you are there? And will you see them all? Do you have dates yet?
I wonder if your sister has the same thing as you- don't you have a benign cyst in your kidney?
Ha ha, good for her and you for not noticing anything, lol! 🤣When I was teaching I watched as a “new” girl was being taunted by 2 boys behind her in the line, but before I could intervene she turned, put a hand on either of their ears and banged their heads together! That is a great idea especially when you can’t attend.I used the books for the package and enclosed cash so that they can get whatever size that they need at the moment.
That makes sense. We don’t have to have inspection here. We no longer have a wood burning stove or fireplace and the installation of the gas furnace and fireplace were done by licensed contractors and inspected by our power company before the gas was turned on to the house. We have to have chimneys inspected and cleaned yearly if used for homeowners insurance and because we live in a historic house in a historic district.
I have 1 full caff in the morning and if I want a second cup I use decaf. I use a keurig as a pot of coffee is a waste for me.I buy half-caff too when I can find it. Keurig sells it.
Thank you Tami. Those are great! And will be well loved for sure.
That is wonderful they still like books. I am sure Kaylee will love books. Dr Seuss is what I read to my daughter when she was little and she read to me when she learned to read. In fact Trish had all of her Dr. Seuss books still and she gave them to Kaylee. Her parents were thrilled as I said they love family heirlooms and books. There were about 20 books. Kaylee will get a good dose of Dr. Seuss too.My Gkds still like books.. well when they are they do at least. Serena reads the Dr Seuss books when she is here and I also have a couple in the car for her to read. They are great for her age to read along. Penelope still likes me to read her stories... usually fairy ones..lol

You will have to let us know how this turns out. 😉I hope not , one thing sbout Annabelle is she won't forget , if she starts calling me it I'm definitely stuck with it 😄
That poor kid. So young to have so many serious problems. The dilating drops last all day with me but I can see and I need to wear sunglasses until evening. I hope they get things figured out soon and he can feel and be well. 😔everyone is fine apart from middle son , still getting lots of tests , eyes yesterday , they did tests similar to what his dad gets for diabetes , so I took him , he had more of a problem with the drops than his dad , said it was hours later before his vision returned to normal , were husband says it only lasts minutes for him ,
Oh my. I certainly can’t blame you.She certainly was feisty which I wouldn't mind but that skirt would have to go , I would have to revert to my younger days when mother tried to dress me in dresses and pink pom pom cardigans with fluffy ankle socks , I used to look like a poodle , as soon as I got outside I would take them off and leave them on the doorstep , I still remember when an elderly neighbour saw me with mother and said Aaah now I understand the vest and knickers 🤣
Yum, cinnamon rolls sound so good. I have not made any in a long time. That was nice to have a couple pieces of fabric big enough for quilt backs. Bonus for you.I had a long chat with DS1 this afternoon, he sounds very positive about the new job. He was busy today & tomorrow getting all his safety tickets updated & the company will pay for all of that so that’s good.
I made buns & cinnamon buns this afternoon, haven’t made those for a while. The house sure smells good.
live also been sorting some squares to make some more I Spy quilts. I have a box of squares cut just have to sort them into a good mix. In the stuff that Darlene gave me for the hats was a couple of pieces big enough for the back of a quilt so I will make those up as I get time. Tomorrow is quilting day so I need to get stuff sorted out to take along.
