I knit doll clothes with crochet thread. I treat size 3 thread as near to fingering in my doll patterns. It does knit up differently since it doesn't have the stretch of yarn.

I have done quite a few tops from this pattern for my Ellowyne Wilde and Tyler Wentworth dolls. It uses Size 10 thread and 0 & 000 needles.
