i have to share Gods great goodness to us as of late.
in this last month...
our daughter got out of prison.
my husbands father died
and we almost lost everything we own,even our land cause of business dealings.
we have tried to handle each thing that came our way and do our best to tend our daughters needs and demands,to get the fil buried...the business deal almost could have blown everything we owned.
we were beside ourselves with worry.
i have to tell u-i waviered on if God was gonna get us thru this last one.
only for a minute.
He came thru.
we came thru with his help and we were filling all this stress and the rumble of nothing being stable.
finally last nite we got word we are ok.
i just want to thank Jesus for all he does for us.He got us thru all of this without loosing our minds.

God promised us He would give us no more than we could bear. If you pray with faith that your prayers will be answered, they are! Sometimes we just have to turn everything over to Him and let Him have control and believe that He never leaves us. His answer to our prayers may not be the one we want, but believe me, God knows what He is doing. If you trust Him, you have no reason to worry. Pray for His will to be done and be ready to accept His answer.
I am so glad and happy that things have turned out okay with that business thing. Glad your daughter is out now and pray that this time has given her the will to stay on the up and up so she does not have to go back. Just remember, you do not have to bend to her will. You must be strong and say "no" to certain things she "demands" of you. It is okay for you to say "No" to her.

I want to thank you for sharing this. My faith has been wavering. My husband, who is our only wage earner, has been out of work since the end of July. Unemployment ran out at the end of December and savings are gone. Prayers are being sent to God and he gets interviews, but no offer yet. Fear creeps in. I appreciate hearing that prayers are being answered. Prayers being sent for your family.

i have had troubles with daughter since she has been out.its much easier to deal with her minus all this other stuff.
she called me telling me and crying mind u...that she was starving too death.
and she said she wanted to die.i did not want to butt in cause she accuses me of this butting in.
i did though.she would not answer her phone after she told me this.
i called the head person.she was the nicest lady.
she told me honey.those ladies have tons and tons of food in that kitchen.
she said alot of these clients in this program arent use to following rules.she said believe me.she is not starving.she may not like the food they have for her but shes not starving.
soo.i found a lady i can talk to -when i need the truth about things going on with dd.
so God has helped me in all ways this month.
u are so right DonnieK.and daughter has not called me.the lady i spoke with said "mom,shes trying to manipulate u and make u feel guilty?"she said dont do it.dont enable her mom.
so i am so happy on finding this lady.she said i can call her anytime.

dear Johannecw...i am praying for your hubby .i can tell u-i was so scared one nite i could not even sleep one wink.i prayed please God.dont let us loose our cabin and our land.
i finally prayed to be ok with what ever happened as long as me and the mister are together.even if we lost everything and had to live in a itty bitty apt and be 80 and both still working doing janitor work in the nite to pay off this person trying to sue all the top people at hubbys work.
i prayed to let me accept whatever happened.
hubby was so down -he wanted to run away.
i said we have God.he is our Rock.no matter what happens.we wil be ok.
so i pray for u.fear does creep in .i did not want it to overcome me.

So glad you found someone in the program to talk to about this. These old patterns die hard so you were given good advice. Hold your ground and you will be fine. You're right that not having other issues make this one more manageable. Good luck!

Thanks for your support and prayers. One night I was ready to pack a backpack and just start walking south to someplace that would be warm enough to live on the beach! Hopefully, we will soon be posting news of answered prayers! Johanne
