Hi everybody! I need a suggestion for yarn that is light enough for summer that will cover and protect from the sun yet not be too hot. Please help. Thanks, Shawn in Santa Barbara.
Greetings Shawn,

Not all cotton yarns are stretchy and/or knit easily. Your best bet is to ask an expert at a good knit shop for her recommendations. Debbie Bliss makes a good cotton. What are you trying to make and what does the pattern say? This will help you determine what you really need or what can be substituted to get the same resaults.

Happy knitting. :-D
