Just finished yesterday. I made this for a lovely little girl whose favourite colour is purple. She's only 2 an a half, but has a real sense of style.

No it was quit easy to line. I used part of a pillowcase. Most of the seaming was already done. I just had to hand sew it in the top. I buy colourful pillowcases at the dollar store. Cheaper than going to the fabric store, and most of the work is already done.

You might of made this for a little girl but this purse is so pretty for us big girls as well. You did an outstanding job on the knitting as well and choosing the color and yet you lined it too.. wow. Great Job, Beautiful knitting.

Great idea with the pillowcases...dollar stores can be quite useful ... I have made several purses but not lined, although I added pockets inside the purses.
