Hi everyone, i had planned on knitting an outfit for an upcoming baby shower the end of October, but the shower was moved up to the end of September. Being a new knitter i didn't think i would have enough time to finish it, so i relied on my trusty crochet skills to finish a set in time. The picture is showing a really bright blue, but it is actually more like a darker steel colored blue. The pattern is from "Hooked on Crochet" 12/2007

Thank you everyone for the beautiful comments. I appreciate it. I really think it turned out great. I had a real hard time loading a photo but the trim really looks like that sherpa lining you see in jean and corduroy jackets. It was real fun to make.

My thoughts exactly on the white trim.... It does look like a little lined jacket.... top style and great for a Vermont winter. The whole set is adorable and practical. Your crochet work is lovely......
