Years ago someone gave me a knitting pattern for an afgan that was very easy and fast. It has a pattern of zig zags of knits and purls. It looks like (I have the afgan) of maybe 2 or 3 knits and purls. To make the zig zag pattern verticle, it may start with one knit or purl and then the 2 or 3 knits or purls. Does anyone have a pattern like that. Thanks

It sounds like a knitting pattern a friend gave me years ago. It was knitted in stips of 15 stiches involving a pattern row a knit row and a purl row. Then the strips were sewn together. This one has a pattern row of K1 K6 w/o K1 w/o K6 K1 The next row is knit and the next is purl. I started doing it with circular needles so I dropped the K1 on the last and first of each pattern section between my markers.

Sorry I screwed that up and left out the middle It should be
K1 K6 w/o K1 w/o K6 k2tog k2tog K6 w/o K1 w/o K6 K1 so that should be 32 stitches cast on I think it was called rippling wave or something like that
