Hi everybody! We are looking for new members for this swap. You don't have to own a cat or dog, just like them. The swap is every other month and are next swap will start around the 1st of June. We feature new cat and dog breeds each time and then try to find items that would match coat, eye color. PM CharleenR for a questionair about your likes and dislikes. Also includes information on your own pets you have now or have had in the past. This is a fun swap and you even get to learn about other cats and dogs, as well as get neat stuff. You don't need to spend a lot, in fact we try to keep the items to cost less than $20.00. You can choose to swap with people in your region, the US or even international.

This sounds like something I would like, but I have always been hesitant about joining the swaps because I don't really understand it and I don't want to "goof"! Could you please tell me a little more about what a swap is and how it is run? thanks

She can send you a questionaire for you to fill out about your likes and dislikes as to knitting, crochet etc and also about your stories about any cats and/or dogs you have or have had in the past. You don't have to have owned one, just have a like for them. After your form is filled out, we try our best to match you with other members with similar likes and dislikes. Then you can gather some items related to the featured dog or cat breed, or to the other persons pets. You can also send items that are knitting and/or crochet things the other person may like. We try to keep the cost below $20.00. You can even send things from your own stash. Try to include a letter telling more about yourself, you may end up with a new friend. You can choose to send to someone near you or even internationally. You'll be told of the deadline to ship your swap package. Use your imagination of things to send. Alot of us will shop in the Dollar stores. So contact CharleenR via PM to get started. Hope you will join in the fun.
