Do you experience loose purl stitches in your knitting? I did. I looked at Cat Bordhi's How to tighten up your purl stitches on YouTube. It really helped. My purl sts are much tighter; especially when I'm knitting cables. It's a little awkward at first but once you keep at it your fingers will purl this way automatically. Carlyta

Try YouTube.com then do a search using Cat Bordhi's name then look for how to tighten up your purl sts. It will come up as one of her titles. Carlyta

You're welcome. I used it for my cable swatch and it worked. I was getting ladders before and after my cable sts and this helped a whole lot. Carlyta

It's called "rowing out" and I notice it if I am using a bigger needle and a looser tension. Some people use a smaller needle on the purl side!!!

Thanks for the video; just trying to remember to purl more tightly is an uphill battle.
