This shawl was made from an acrylic yarn and it only weights 140g, so it is beautifully light. It could have done with more aggressive blocking, but my space is too limited for that. I expect it would be bigger but as it is, it is 72" from tip to tip and the drop to the point in the back is 38" Nice size shawl and soooo cuddly. It will need a home, but I loved the color and wanted to do that pattern even though I changed it a bit and didn't do the bobble bind off, doing a few rows of garter stitch instead which makes it more of a utilitarian piece.
The color on the leaves is the most accurate. It is what I call a dusty mauve.

I just noticed on ravelry that my shawl is exactly the same size as the pattern says it should be. That's just coincidence as I didn't do a swatch or anything. I have a walnut sized ball of yarn left over. For a while I was afraid I wouldn't have enough as there was no label on the ball of yarn I started with.
