I found these:

No slip slippers,using silicone hair bands

There are many discussions of how to make socks that are not slippery. I use little rubber (silicone) hair bands knitted into the soles. Here is a You Tube video that I just made to explain my method:

Isn’t wonderful you can knit socks just the way he wants them? I love sock knitting also, always have a pair on the needle. I am a 2AATCD magic loop knitter.

Nicely done. I really like your rib pattern. Would that my hubby liked shorter socks. Because he wears them in work boots most of the time, he prefers rather tall tops, and knitting them sometimes becomes very tedious.
