Hi, it's "newbie" again. I understand M1 and how to do it. However, I have this question regarding my instructions. Working stockinette stitch, it says "k2, M1, k to last 2 its, M1, k2. Increase on every 4th row until there are 56 sts. . ." This is a dog sweater, top panel.
So, since neither R nor L are indicated, WHAT am I supposed to do? Is this something I am supposed to know without instructions stating? Do I go left and then right on other end? Do I keep slanting left? I have NO clue!
Do you need to see the sweater diagram to be able to tell? It's just the top of the sweater, beginning to shape for the rump starting from the lower edge. Do you need to see my knitting? ARGHHH. HELP! :sm26:
