Well girls,
I have just spent several hours looking everywhere in all the suggested places of both free and to pay for patterns for a simple summer cotton sweater pattern for my granddaughters. I need size 6 and 8. Some one needs to get on the stick and localize MACHINE patterns like pattern central has for hand knitting. A ll I find including in Ravelry is baby stuff or heavy winter sweaters usually handknit. any help would be appreciated and I will gladly pay for it about now. No I am not able to convert from a regular pattern. Jane

I have patterns for summer tops, probably too for late now as you posted this in April. My patterns are from old publications and none for small kids in summer but have some for teens that could be gauged down by sts per inches rather than attempting to figure out how to convert for the difference in yarn. send a pm if you want.

when they open back up this is a great program you can design you own pattern very simply, you just enter the size and your gauge, can use for machine knitting, hand knitting and crocheting. http://www.greatknitdesigns.com/
