Making this sweater, I have learned that knitting and political news stations don't go together-there are so many mistakes; I'm hoping that blocking will cover some. Normally, I am so critical of my work that I will rip out and reknit. Didn't this time.

I don't knit, but it looks fine to me too. My philosophy is a few minor mistakes are like lumps in mashed potatoes, they prove it's homemade and not from a box.

I certainly would not pull the lovely cardigan undone.
What I would do is to gently pull the error stitches together with a couple of strands of the yarn you used and nobody would notice. I have done this myself.

Imperfections ward off the eye of evil. That is what I occasionally tell myself. I am usually super critical of my own work but only see the best in that of others. Yours is a very cute sweater.

Yes, Anne, I learned to do that also and from a video of Roz Rocks. She is an expert knitter but shows some errors from time to time and how to correct them. She said to take some yarn like you would be working in tails and close too big stitches or holes, use a needle to adjust the size of stitches when a few are too big/small and other things. It helped me a lot....meanwhile, I don't see any issues with that lovely sweater.

It's a lovely sweater. Maybe you could go over the errors w/some of the yarn or similar color thread. I've done that and it works!

I can find a couple of issues, but why. If someone is looking for flaws rather than the baby in the sweater, they aren’t someone I want to associate with.
