I have several things in the works, putting a crochet edging around a flannel blue blanket that has teddy bears on it, already have the hat done, then I am knitting a baby blanket in the basketweave pattern for a friend that will have a first great grand son first of year, shower is 3rd of Oct. I been asked to crochet baby sweater, bonnet and booties, have been asked to knit a scraf, then was at the dance other night and a lady asked if i crocheted and i said yes, well she had bought a crocheted table cloth at a yard sale and for some reason the last round was coming apart in several different places, so asked if I could try and fix it, havent started on that, as it is going to be time consuming to take that last row, then I am working on the hats on the looms, have one done, then I just crocheted tops on 4 fall leaves tea towels, tried to take pictures but batteries down on camera, just as soon as I get them charged up will post pictures of them. I have four more tea towels I want to make up, two with bigger fall leaves and two for thanksgiving and try and sell.
So my hands want be idle for a while.

You know what they say about "Idle hands...."
Not a problem for you, ever!
When I'm not working on my blanket, I've got a sweater on the ndls.
Then, there's the bright idea of a blanket in green [for grass] with a square block like a boulder crashing down on the grass and splitting apart with shards flying all over I'll have to sketch and chart.
And there's the crazy leaning geometrics blanket to get a border worked out and joined.
I'm not as busy as you are; but I probably knit a lot slower than you do....

Hands are always busy. That's a good thing. Just have to remember to get up and walk around the house once an hour so things do get stiff.
I have the finishing stitches to put on an afghan. Have a lacy cardigan on the circulars, a mitered squares vest in the works and a shrug on the straights. Oh, and a baby blanket waiting for a few more rows when I'm bored.

I think the "multiple project syndrome" may be responsible for so many people NOT having fun with their crafts. why not backk off from so many commitments? I'd be crawling walls!
Because many of us are easily distracted by a new pattern, new yarn, new idea, and we can't wait to try it. One advantage of this is that if we don't feel like doing one project, we can work on another one. I won't even tell how many projects I have "in process" right now.

Two different kind of personalities: two different approaches to knitting projects. ;-)

I currently am working on one cross stitch and one knitted project. However, I am still going over in my mind my next knitting project. Still working out the particulars before I commit to paper! I had way too many project going, over six and that was just too much stuff laying around! Drove me nutso!
