These were posted as "on my needles now", but they are now finished. The hat has been blocked, but the baby blanket will be washed this afternoon and delivered tomorrow.

The hat gave me some trouble due to the splitty yarn and black being hard to see stitches (dropped a few & had to fix). I didn't care for the Bernat Baby yarn the first time and still don't, but it is quick to use and can't disappoint the little ones. I just hope the dog doesn't get this one!

Those are both great! I still give a baby blanket made of the same yarn. Mom's love the softness and easy care and it does make up rather quickly.

The hat sat for a couple of years as I knew it would be a challenge. Finally dragged it out curing Covid to finish for this Christmas. It is perfect for my musician son. I just hope he doesn't wear it for chopping wood!
