I finally finished my Elda Cardigan designed by Vera Sanon. I used Annadele's Alpaca & silk blend in a DK. I actually had finished this sweater 2 wks ago and and was getting ready to block and saw a small brown spot on it and when I brushed it away there was a hole and a stink bug laying by it. We have had a terrible time with those things. They don't eat things but can make holes with there legs. I tried to repair it with kitchner stitch but wasn't pleased with it and ended up taking it out up to the sleeves and reknitting it. But finally here it is. Hope you enjoy looking at it. The pattern was purchased on Raverly.

It is beautiful. I do not like those stink bugs at all. I have not had a problem with any holes thank goodness but they are sometimes around my light fixture outside. Glad you were able to knit another sleeve to repair.

What a beautiful cardigan. Boy I didn't know that about stink bugs. I hate the darn things anyway, but this makes it worse. Now My knitting is at stake. I'm so glad you were able to fix the hole even if it did mean re-knitting a section.

Thank you, I don't think they attack things but crawl on them and get tangled in the fiber and make a hole trying to get out. When I was reknitting I started draping a towel over it at night to keep them off. We collected them in a plastic cup of water and dawn dish detergent and are not seeing too many now. They did say on the news that they can be very destructive and people are finding tiny holes in T-shirts.
