Can someone help me please. Have a beautiful pattern Spring Flowers Lace shawl http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/sources/beyenburgerins-weblog
have managed to knit 2 other shawls but regard myself as a newbie to charts. Am wondering if I am being a bit too ambitious. I tried to write out the longhand of row 7 but not sure how the pattern repeats itself as there is no * to guide me.

There are no repeats as far as I can see. You do right side chart, then middle chart, and last left side chart. This should use all your stitches on your needles. Hope this helps.

There are no repeats until later in the pattern- they are highlighted in yellow.

Also, toward the end, there will be some black squares or "no stitch" - when you get there, treat them like the black squares on a crossword puzzle - ignore them and go on to the next stitch with directions. They are simply place holders on the chart, so that the chart "picture" lines up all the way through.
