It is my birthday on Saturday and my husband heard me talking about yarn bowls. Today we drove out to Addie's in Cochrane (west of Calgary_) and he bought me this beautiful, square pottery yarn bowl. I am delighted as it was his idea and I love it.

It is square , and is very very nice. I love it because it can 't tip over -- as the sides are straight up and down rather than like a bowl with the top larger than the bottom. Needles to say, it Made my day!!

It is the only yarn bowl I have seen that is square- I love that it won't be top heavy which seems to be one of the problems some of them have. I have tried this today and it is very very solid and I am really really happy with it. Especially as he saw an add in the paper and phoned them on his own - he told me about it a couple of weeks ago and we drove out to Cochrane this morning.

I have always known he is a keeper - (57 years worth) after 3 days of meeting each other. I am blessed.
