It all started with a lovely box.
I’ve been knitting hats to donate to the city mission for the homeless.
I got tired of knitting straight hats so I’ve now moved on to knitting a version of the
1898 hats for the daycare centre where my granddaughter used to attend.
will keep them nice and warm when playing outside in the winter months to come.

Busy needles, such amazing work, and such a variety of patterns and colours!! Well done!
PS: I have just spotted your beautiful brassware on the table, and am wondering how you get it so shiny?

it’s antique silver left to us by our family.
I have to clean it all the time.
I can understand why young people today don’t have silver today

You have been busy and I'm sure the Daycare will appreciate them.
I like your table and chairs.

I too, have antique silver and can't bring myself to get rid of it so... I keep on cleaning it, reminds me of the ones no longer here that used it. Your hats are awesome. I am sure they are appreciated.

Did you order that offshore? Were you pleased with the quality of the yarn? Do you have a supplier you recommend?
They certainly made wonderful hats. On behalf of those receiving your fine work, thank you for your time and your generousity
I buy my wool from Spotlight here in New Zealand. Yes it’s great quality wool. I can get a 100g ball of pure wool for about 6.20 on sale or their abouts. It varies from sale to sale. 100 gms is enough for an adults hat.
