I made this bear for my Granddaughter, who graduated from high school yesterday, using her school colors of white and blue. I started it awhile ago but ran out of yarn so had to wait and get another skein and finish knitting the arms and sewing it together on the way. Nothing like having to get something finished at the last minute. I was very happy with how it turned out and she loved it.

AWWWWWW Karen, you finished him to perfection. I must say, he looks really smart in his sweater. You have knitted him beautifully and given him the cutest of little faces. Pat would love him. You are so amazing at knitting all of your Bears. They are all very special. I hope this one goes on to cheer at the side-lines. Hip, Hip, Hooray.

Thanks Chris. You make adorable bears too. I loved your swimming Titch and it was such a clever way to use the extra head from trying to get your bride. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Haha! I knew you would recognize him. He was sitting looking at me all the time the bride Bear was getting 'fixed'. I had to make use of him somehow, didn't I? he's quite happy swimming around in his little pool. Are you going to name your 'need a hug' Bear? How about the name of the school!

I didn't name him as I only had him for a few hours after he was finished. The school's name is Bennington so I guess we could refer to him as Bennington or Ben for short.

Bennington is a wonderful name. I might even steal it for one of my Bears names. it sounds very classy and Etonian.
