I would like to meet others who have bipolar disorder and often feel isolated. This a great forum to meet people, and I enjoy every minute I am on it. Knitting and crocheting help me get through various mood cycles so I would like to meet/help others with my illness.

My sister suffers terribly with this disorder, and used to be a fantastic knitter. Sadly she does not like to be around people and is a virtual recluse now. I don't even know if she still has the broadband internet, but I will find out and maybe get her to join KP. It just might be what will help her 'socialise' again. Leonora.

I am not bipolar but do have disabling depression, anxiety and panic attacks. Thigs are so bad that i do not go out alone ever, and then only rarely. This site is new to me but the crochet forum i am a member of has been my social outlet. that and facebook to keep me in touch with family. I solation is tough but crochet and now knitting keeps me getting out of bed each day.
