I'm knitting a Beanie hat, didn't understand the instruction, please help me. It is : With rs facing *K9, K2 tog, rep from * to last st. K1. Next row: Work 1 row. This is where I'm confuse, what is Work 1 row means? Thanks in advance. Mei

What kind of needles are you using- circular, double pointed, or straight? If you are knitting in the round on circular or double pointed, you would knit around the next row (round). But since you wrote row, it sounds like you are using straight needles so you would turn the fabric around so the wrong side faces you and purl the next row.
I hope this helps!

Usually, when decreasing for the crown of a hat, there is a decrease row and a plain (no decreases) row alternating. So, "Work 1 row" just means to knit (or purl, or whatever the stitch pattern may be) one row without decreasing.

It just means work the stitches as you see them.
