Anyone know of a pattern for size 18mo or size 2T preferably using fingering yarn for a fancy dress (maybe a lacy skirt) with cap sleeves for a toddler to wear to a wedding. I'd sure appreciate any help, I've been looking for weeks. Thanks
Thanks I have just ordered a pattern from Etsy (Ticktock, Vintage patterns) and it is absolutely perfect. Just what I wanted. Couldn't have done this without help from Knitting Paradise because I have been looking on line and every knitting shop between here and NYC. Ya'll are the best. Thanks!!
I test knit Amelia An Angel Dress from Ravelry and it was a great easy knit. My first top down. Very pretty. My granddaughter is going to wear it for a wedding this fall. She is due anytime
It's by Jenny Wiebe
This one is just a top, but in the projects area, I saw a knitter just knit the lacy part longer and made a dress. It is a rather quick knit. In the right yarn, I think it could look very dressy. Pattern is free and is bottom up, so you could just keep knitting the scalloping until you are ready for the bodice.
