Hello, My name is Lorelei. I am in Southern CA and I love knitting but hate spending lots of money on patterns as the yarn is costly enough. I am looking for patterns in the "Done by Monday" book if anyone cares to share with me.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Thank you for the welcome. I'm sorry I asked for pattern but I didn't realize you couldn't. I'd like to rephrase my request. If anyone had this book and want to part with it I would be interested in purchasing it used. Thank you!

Here is a search in Ravelry.com for "free, worsted, size 13 needles", which is what the afghan patterns are in the book, only using the yarn doubled.

http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/search#craft=knitting&query=afghan&weight=worsted&availability=free&view=captioned_thumbs&sort=best&needles=9.0mm

You need to register on Ravelry to download, but it is free, and they have thousands of free patterns of all kinds.

Also, look for the Plymouth Yarns site - free patterns and there are several.

WEBS has the booklet for $7.00.

Which site are you having trouble downloading from?

With Ravelry, you have to be signed in -- check the upper right corner, it should say Hi and your sign in name. Then click the picture of the pattern in the search, and on the page, it will say "available for free". Click on that, and it should pop up in the lower left of you screen and go into your downloads file on your computer.

Yes In this site. I see the book, put it in my library but I guess the pattern is not free as I see no download button. But it also has no information on purchasing this pattern either.

You can't buy the book from Ravelry.com. The patterns in the book are shown there, but they are not purchased a individual patterns. You would need to go to the sites shown earlier in the post by Galaxycraft to purchase. Hope this helps.

Since you may have to buy this book I would suggest you try E-bay or Amazon for a used copy.

Hi, from Texas! I have the book, but it's copyrighted and still available on Amazon.com. Therefore, I can't legally share its contents. Please try getting the book from Amazon or one of the other book sources. Happy knitting!

I ordered it online this morning and can't wait for it to get here. I want to make my Neice an afghan from the book for a wedding gift and am excited to get started on the project!!! I didn't mind ordering it so much as the dang shipping charges. One place wanted as much for shipping as it did for the book. Of course you can tell what the shipping charges are going to be until you get almost done with the order. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Yes, I have received the book and love it. I am working on #15 and it's beautiful!!! and EASY! I'm not sure if there is an electronic version or not. I was not successful in finding one as that's what I wanted to begin with as I didn't want to pay for shipping. I finally just gave up and ordered the book. It did come very quickly though. Good luck.

This book is not available in electronic form.

Any of the sites listed here on the thread all have fast shipping.
And Expedited Shipping is usually an option at checkout.
