Hi, found this site today. Home recuperating from a fall at work. lucky arms not hurt. Do many crafts but have been knitting since I was 5yrs old. Mom tired of me losing my mittens!! Have taught beginner knitting at a local shop. hand sewing a zipper in a sweater for 1st grandchild now. need to get back to it. Maybe a crochet bunny later.

Hi , sorry to hear your not well. I pray you will be fully recovered soon. In the meantime do lots of knitting. Im a nurse and just about to start a long stint of night shift. So I intent to do a lot of knitting for my grandchildren, a girl 3, boy 18mths and a boy due in july. I am looking for simple sweater patterns that have pictures knitted in the front of things like cars, trucks, animals, flowers etc. If any one knows where I can get some free patterns from please let me know. Hi I am a Radiologic Technologist... I know those night shifts!! worked in a hospital for 18yrs. There are sites on line that have graphs for whatever you want but you have to do the math on centering it. I have some animals in old books but the yarn will be fine. I will look for you and send you the info. Just sitting with the knee up plenty of time. I slipped on a foot drop brace and went to the floor. Hopefully just a contusion of the patella.

Welcome from Texas, I am also home on a work related injury for an entire year. Mary Maxim has alot of sweaters with pictures. I am glad your arms aren't hurt. Its my right hip. I hope you feel better soon. Wanda/Queenmawmaw
