Hello and welcome to the forum from Michigan. You have to loosen up!! If your yarn is to tight on the link part, you need to relax your shoulders, and take a deep breath. You are way to tense. Remember this is something you ENJOY, you're doing this for FUN!! Don't put pressure on yourself.

Hi and welcome from St. Pete, Florida! So glad you found KP. You'll love the forum. Absolutely wonderful folks here, lots of help, tips and hints. I've learned so much just from reading the posts and checking out the links other KPers post.

I used to be a very tight knitter. How far into the project are you. a friend suggested I cast on with two needles so that my first row wouldn't be so tight, I only had to do it once or twice on projects, then I got used to how not to make it so tight. hope this helps. HI from Omaha, NE
