Hi! I am new to knitting , just started about 6 months ago. I have learned the basics, knitting 101 and knitting 102 and have taken a basic sock class. I have knit 3 pair of socks already! I am looking forward to knitting my first sweater, if I can find a simple enough pattern.

Try Favcraft.com or Lionbrand.com. They are a lot of free knitting patterns. Lionbrand categorized their patterns by skill level. You should be able to find a simple enough sweater to start with. I'm just finishing my first sweater and I've been knitting for four years! You're braver than I was. Enjoy!
