Hi all. I'm an old (not age related) knitter who is possibly returning to the craft. I used to knit but due to time restraints I gave up. I am now able to take it up again and would like someone who has a pattern for an aran sweater to forward same. It was one I knitted a while back and would like to knit one for myself (for a change). It, if I remember rightly, it had a dimond or bobbly central panel, either side were cables. Does this ring a bell??? Are there any other male knitters? Have not met any.....YET!

As you have not knitted for awhile then it could be an old pattern that you used.

Just checked out the link.....Sooooo surprised to find the exact aran sweater I knitted all those years ago. Thank you for the link.

I'm sending for details of sweater and then start to knit??? Thank you every one for your positive feed back. It will edge me on to take knitting up again. Will take pics as and when I finish. Need to get pattern, needles etc. Thanks everyone!
